Here is a cocktail recipe from The Circular at The Hotel Hershey. This hotel is one of America's landmark hotels and was built by chocolate magnate Milton S. The four-star hotel's restaurant The Circular was designed by Mr. Not wanting his guest to have a bad seat, he built a circular-shaped restaurant without corners or pillars. This drink, the Zinger, is a refreshing tribute to the town of Hershey's original positioning as "Pennsylvania's Summer Playground." This refreshing summer sipper features Beefeater Gin, brandy, St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur, and the fresh flavors of ginger, lemon, and basil.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Ounce Beefeater Gin
  • 1 Ounce E&J Brandy
  • 1/2 Ounce St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1 Ounce Canton Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/2 Ounce basil simple syrup
  • 1 Ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3-4 large basil leaves

This KFC Recipe Proves Zinger Fillets and Mi Goreng Belong Together

KFC is continuing its Kentucky Fried Cookin’ series, and its latest creation is a fried chicken take on noodles. We all crave a cheeky 2-minute noodle snack every now and then, but adding some KFC to the mix really does take it to another level.

This recipe for Pimped Up noodles looks damn good and the best part is you can make it yourself at home.


Do you know what the Zinger is?

Zinger is a kind of fried chicken, made with thigh and breasts (boneless or with bone) sold by KFC that comes with an extra crunchy layer. This version of crispy, juicy and flavorful chicken is very fondly eaten by everyone all over the world. Especially kids love zinger too much.

Crispy Zinger can be served in two ways, as a zinger platter meal with coleslaw and fries and also as a patty in a burger.

Here, I’m just sharing the recipe of zinger and serve with burger buns, coleslaw, ketchup and fries. In the coming future, I will share the recipe of Zinger burger too. Stay with Rocking Recipes for my upcoming delicious recipes.

Today I’m Presenting the recipes of KFC Style Hot & Spicy Crispy Chicken Zinger with Coleslaw salad & Homemade Golden Fries. It is a complete combo meal and I’m sure when you make this at home your kids will love it!!

Note: T his is not a copycat KFC Fried Chicken recipe but it’s totally my own creation. I tried and tested and everyone loved it so I am going to share my recipe of Crispy fried chicken Zinger. I hope you all will love it!

  • 1 bell pepper(green or red), chopped
  • 1- 14oz can chopped tomatoes
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni or farafalle
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chili powder

Ingredients

Delicious Raspberry Zinger Cake

If you love the popular snack cake, you’ll love this Raspberry Zinger Cake!! Sturdy yellow sponge cake is coated in raspberry and coconut and filled with marshmallow frosting.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (I’ve used Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker, both work just fine)
  • 5.1 oz box instant vanilla pudding (the large box)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick salted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • Raspberry Coating:
  • 3 oz box raspberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sweetened, shredded coconut
  • 2 TBS cornstarch
  • Frosting:
  • 1 stick salted butter, slightly softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour 2 (8 inch) round cake pans and set aside.
  2. In the bowl of your mixer, combine eggs and butter. Add water, pudding mix, and cake mix and beat on medium for about a minute, until batter is smooth and thick. Spread evenly in prepared pans and bake for about 20 -25 mins or until tops spring back when lightly touched, or a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  3. Let cake cool in pans for 5 minutes, remove to wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Stir jello mix into boiling water until dissolved. Place in a large, shallow pan and set in the refrigerator until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.
  5. Place coconut in a blender or food processor and pulse a few times until coconut is in smaller pieces. Toss with cornstarch until coated.
  6. Trim the domed tops from your cakes. Dip cakes in the thickened jello mixture — work quickly so the cakes don’t get too soggy and fall apart. Gently press coconut onto the top of each cake. Place cakes on wire racks to set, about 2 hours.
  7. Prepare filling: In the bowl of your mixer, beat butter, vanilla and whipping cream on medium low speed. Add marshmallow cream and beat on medium until smooth. Slowly beat in powdered sugar until just barely mixed. Increase speed to high and beat for one minute, until fluffy. Frost cake and serve.

There will be enough frosting to frost the top of your cake, if desired. Or you could just pile it all up in the middle and show off that gorgeous pink coconut. Either way, enjoy!

Raspberry Zinger Cake

Hi Leslie, Do you mean raspberry filling? That sounds like a great addition, let me know how that turns out. We put cream filling in the middle like original Hostess Zingers.

Is it raspberry pie filling or raspberry ice cream topping

No raspberry pie filling or ice cream here. You need to make a raspberry Jell-O topping that you dip the cakes in.

Trying it now. Cakes are cooling for the 1-2 hr time, then will start the filling. Can’t wait to see how this tastes!! So far, so good! The worse part was coating the cakes with the jello. It fell apart, but I squooshed them back together.

Cake is finished and it taste EXACTLY like a little debbie zinger . Only thing I did different is went light on the filling. I used less than half because it is very sweet. Thank you for this recipe !!

Is the butter you use for the cake and the filling salted or unsalted?

Dusty, thank you for posting this recipe. I made it yesterday and LOVE it. Raspberry Zinger was my favorite childhood treat and this cake certainly tastes just like it.
A little tip for the Jello, which made things much easier. I decided to let the Jello cool on the counter to a warm liquid and then poured it into a squeeze bottle. While assembling the cake, I was able to coat both the tops and sides by using the squeeze bottle, and then pressed the coconut onto the tops.

I made this for my husband last year for his birthday and we loved it! Taste exactly like a zinger! I made it again today for valentines day!
I’m a little intimidated to dip the cake into the jello(in fear that it will break apart), so I keep it on the dry rack and place over the sink, then pour jello over it. However, It does take a bit longer for jello to thicken in a mixing bowl vs a flat pan

Going to try this tomorrow but a bit confused. You level off the tops of cakes..do you dip them also? Then do you put tops or bottoms to the inside with the filling? Ty for yuh our help.

Hi Ruby, Yes, you level the tops of the cakes, then you quickly dip the tops in the Jell-o mixture, place them on the racks over a sheet pan, and press the coconut mixture over them, let sit for 1-2 hours. When ready, prepare filling. Place bottom layer on a cake plate. Pipe filling over the bottom layer and place the top layer over the filling. Warning: This does get messy, that’s why we use the baking sheets under the racks. Enjoy, I hope you love it as much as we do!
